Are you fed up with going back home after every dive trip? Did you realize that diving is what you want to do and not just once a year, but every day?
Or you just want to go to the next step in scuba diving?

Then you should come to Costa Rica and do your Divemaster course with us!

The Divemaster course is the first professional level of PADI, your first step on the way to becoming an Instructor.

During the course you will learn more about diving than you thought possible, tune up your dive skills, develop leadership abilities and assist Instructors.
After completion of this course, you will be qualified to guide certified divers, conduct some PADI courses yourself and assist Instructor's with student divers.

During the Divemaster course you will learn a lot of different aspects about diving. You will no longer depend on the Instructor or Divemaster. Instead you will be the person other people rely on. You will learn how to take care of logistics and preparation, give advice and problem solve.

The Divemaster course takes you more into detail about the theory behind diving. Things such as, why do things appear closer underwater then they really are? How does the equipment I am wearing function? Why do I have to equalize my ears and what can happen if I don’t? How much is my maximum allowed bottom time?

These are just some of the questions you will be able to answer and assist others with.

You will get the chance to get to know the dive sites by assisting our Divemasters and Instructors on the boat and during the dives. You will learn how to create a map of a dive site, how to write your own emergency assistance plan, conduct a Divemaster program and much more. All to insure you know what to do and where to go once it’s your turn to be guide and take care of our customers.

Other aspects of the Divemaster course are that you will learn how to assist with teaching courses. You will be trained to perform all the skills to a demonstration quality level, making you the perfect assistant for an Instructor and a role model for students.

A Divemaster's job is not just going out diving; there is a whole operation behind it. You will learn how a dive shop works and functions. From loading the truck and boats before and after the dives, assembling the right equipment, washing the equipment, learning to repair the equipment, filling tanks, administrative roles, and logistical support, talking to customers and selling our products…

Costa Rica will provide you with the perfect location to meet new people, make lifelong friends and over all give you an unforgettable experience!
