DIVE SHOP CHECK IN PROCEDURE

Please call us at 2672-1259 or 2672-1260 between the hours of 7-4 or leave a message on the answering machine to reconfirm your diving schedule and equipment needs. If possible call the day before your first day of diving.  Divers must check in with the dive shop at least one hour prior to boat departure to coordinate gear pickup, show proof of scuba certification, and sign the Liability Release required prior to participating in any scuba activity, including instruction. Participants in a scuba diving course will also be required to sign a statement regarding medical history, so if you have any medical conditions that may prevent you from participating in this
activity, it is recommended that you contact your physician and obtain a signed
release permitting you to participate. NO REFUNDS will be given for unused dives
or instruction.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP / VISA REQUIREMENTS

Travelers are responsible for obtaining proper entry
documentation. All foreign nationals including infants are
required to possess a valid passport to enter Costa Rica. All passports
must have at least six months remaining before expiration at time of departure
from Costa Rica.
Visitors from some countries are required to have a
visa. No refunds will be given for missed flights or denied entry caused by
failure to carry proper documentation or for any other reason. If travel
documents are lost or stolen or other issues need to be resolved with the
participant’s embassy there will be no refund for forfeited transfers, hotel
rooms, or tours. Visitors to Costa Rica can carry a copy of their passport in
lieu of the original while travelling within the country

DEPARTURE TAX

Departure Tax is $26 (subject to change without notice) and must be paid prior to check in.  Payment of the departure tax is the sole responsibility of the traveler and can be paid in US dollars, local currency, or credit card.

PAYMENT POLICY

v      $100.00 per person is due at time of booking to hold
package reservation.

v      Full payment is due 45 days prior to arrival.

v      Peak Season (Easter, Christmas, and New Year’s) payment is due 75 days prior to arrival.

v      Reservations not fully paid 30 days before arrival will be cancelled. Peak Season: Reservations must be fully paid 60 days before arrival. Reservations not paid on time will be cancelled.

v      In the event the reservation is released due to non-payment, there
will be NO REFUNDS of any deposits paid.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations need to be submitted in writing and are subject to the penalties outlined below. No refunds can be made for unused hotel rooms, meals, diving, tours, or transfers.

High and Low Seasons:

v      Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival – FULL REFUND.

v       Cancellations 45 to 59 days prior to arrival - $100 fee per person.

v       Cancellations 30 to 44 days prior to arrival – 50% charge.

v      Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival – No Refund

Peak Season (Easter, Christmas, and New Year’s Week):

v     Cancellations 90+ days prior to arrival – FULL REFUND

v      Cancellations 75 to 89 days prior to arrival - $100 fee per person

v      Cancellations 60 to 74 days prior to arrival – 50% charge.

v     Cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival – No Refund

NO SHOWS

No refund.  Clients will be charge the full amount.

CHANGES TO ITINERARY

Any changes to the itinerary must be made 30+ days prior to departure. Any changes to the itinerary at the guest’s request while on the trip are at the guest’s sole expense. NO REFUNDS will be given for any unused tours, meals, or transfers. No exceptions will be made. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, the itinerary becomes final at time of deposit.
